Ludwigs celebrate
60th anniversary
MR. & MRS. LUDWIG
Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Ludwig of Jackson celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Oct. 22, 2005, with a dinner at the home of their grandchildren, Jamie and Shauna Criddle in Jackson.
Cohosts were the couple's daughters and spouses, Cherry and Ed Hinderberger of Columbia, Mo., and Donna and Danny Criddle of Jackson.
Ludwig and Bonnie Armstrong were married Oct. 20, 1945, at the Methodist parsonage in Clinton, Okla., where he was stationed at the Naval Air Base.
He is the son of the late Oscar and Tillie Ludwig of Jackson. She is the daughter of the late F.J. and Lula Armstrong of Cape Girardeau.
The couple farms on the Ludwig family farm near Jackson. Mrs. Ludwig taught 28 years, retiring from Jackson School District.
The couple's other grandchildren and spouses are: Charlie and Gina Henry and Jon Hinderberger of Columbia, Matthew and Kimberly Lewis of Mapleton, Utah, Travis and Bonnie Criddle of Henderson, Ky., and Kyle and Beth Essner of Jackson. Their great-grandchildren are Alyssa, Megan, Erin, Jeremy, Joshua and Brianna Lewis of Mapleton, and Jacob and Madeline Criddle of Henderson.
