Loos couple married 50 years

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Loos of Cape Girardeau celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary May 27, 2006. They attended Mass at St. Mary's Cathedral and a dinner reception at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Cape Girardeau.

Hosts were their sons, Gary and Mark Loos of Cape Girardeau, Tim Loos of San Francisco, Calif., and their families.

Loos and Mary Steimle were married May 19, 1956, at St. Mary's Cathedral by Monsignor Marion Forst. Their attendants were Ann Hinton, Sally Deevers, Shirley Boham, Pat Miller, Janice Steimle, Jack Loos, George Loos, Bill Goodson and the late Bob Morton.

The couple also has a daughter-in-law, Alma; and four grandchildren, Timmy, Tina, Sarah and Sam Loos.
