The University of Missouri-Columbia has announced undergraduate students named to dean's lists or honor rolls for high academic achievement.
Although eligibility for scholastic honors varies among MU's schools and colleges, all students must achieve at least a 3.0 based on a possible 4.0 grade point average to receive recognition.
Nineteen students from Cape Girardeau received academic honors at MU. These students are Whitney N. Calvin, senior; Matthew J. Emmendorfer, senior; Matthew C. Hosler, sophomore; Jill M. Kroenung, senior; Lesli A. Maxwell, freshman; Jennifer D. McBride, junior; Bethany C. Moll, freshman; Matt J. Merriman, junior; Kevin P. Pikey, freshman; Michelle D. Pikey, senior; Michael A. Price, senior; Catherine M. Retherford, senior; Tracy L. Robinson, senior; Heather E. Ryan, sophomore; Ryan E. Shaw, junior; Jason E. Stephens, sophomore; Angela J. Tanner, freshman; Michelle R. Warren, freshman and Jason B. Woods, sophomore.
Twelve Jackson natives were honored for academic achievements at MU. These students include Cynthia A. Fetterhoff, senior; Larry J. Crutsinger, Jr., senior; Sheri L. Boren, senior; Jennifer A. Frericks, freshman; Martha J. Hoffmeister, junior; Amy E. Knaup, sophomore; Holly R. Kutscher, freshman; Morgan L. Meyr, senior; Lori r. Reagan, senior; Stanley A. Sokolowski, senior; Matthew C. Statler, senior; and Andlle L. Thomas, junior.
Amy B. Bertrand, freshman, is a Scott City native who was honored at MU.
Tammy S. King, senior from Oak Ridge, also received academic awards.
Benton students receiving awards are Douglas H. Heuring, junior and Kristy L. Scherer, junior.
Jeanne A. Pfefferkorn of Chaffee is a senior at MU and was honored for academic excellence.
Three Oran students received awards: Traci D. Patterson, junior; Tammy L. Shy, junior, and Marcus Kyrous, junior.
Jill A. Wene of Glen Allen is a freshman at MU and was named to the dean's honor roll.
