Lingle -- 50 years

James and Rose Lingle of Cape Girardeau celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house on Nov. 28, 2015, at the home of their daughter in Jackson.

Lingle and the former Rose Buehrle were married Nov. 27, 1965, at St. Mary Cathedral in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Leo P. Kampman performed the ceremony. Attendants were Patrick Buehrle, Julie Buehrle, Gary Rendleman, Lary Rendleman, Judy Meinz and Betty Buehrle.

The couple has six children, Mauri Westrich of Cape Girardeau; Jacki Ainsworth of Jackson; Brian Lingle of Washington, Missouri; Jeremy Lingle of Jackson; Matthew Lingle of Scott City and Becki Holland of Cape Girardeau. The couple also has 10 grandchildren.
