Leimers mark golden event

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Leimer of Jackson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception and dance June 28, 2003, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson.

Hosts were their children and spouses: David and Frances Leimer, Steven and Brenda Leimer, Sherri and Dale Robinson of Jackson, Barbara and Richard Dunlap of Clark, Pa., and Michael and LaRae Leimer of Cape Girardeau. The Leimers have 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Leimer and Marjorie Lichtenegger were married June 19, 1953, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Pocahontas.
