Mr. and Mrs. Ken Leimbach of Jackson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Dec. 29, 2013.
Leimbach and Ginny Mueller were married Dec. 29, 1963, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville, Mo.
The couple has two daughters, Sandra (Mike) Bolen and Sherri (Steve) Welker of Jackson. They have six grandchildren, Hana Bolen (Logan) Lawson of Jackson; Alex Bolen and friend Jessica McMasters, attending the University of Missouri-St. Louis; Logan Welker attending Saxony Lutheran High School; Lauren and Lacie Welker attending Trinity Lutheran School in Cape Girardeau; and Lindy Welker is the baby.
Ken retired from Citizens Electric eight years ago. Ginny is retired from banking and sales. They lived in Frohna, Mo., 30 years, and after retiring moved to Jackson to be near their children and grandchildren. Traveling is their hobby, and they enjoy attending their grandchildren's ball games.
Ginny Leimbach said, "To God be all the glory for 50 wonderful years together, and for giving us parents who brought us to our faith in Christ Jesus, our savior."
