Kurre - 70 years

Mr. and Mrs. E.P. Kurre of Jackson celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary by attending church service with their family April 25 at Emanuel United Church of Christ in Jackson. A dinner followed at the home of a daughter, Dina Casey of Cape Girardeau.

Kurre and Leona Limbaugh were married April 26, 1940, at Emanuel Evangelical Church parsonage in Jackson, by the Rev. Paul Piepenbrok.

The couple has two daughters, Dina (Neil) Casey of Cape Girardeau and Gina (Terry) Rogers of St. Louis. They have five grandchildren, Lee, Mark and Ann Strickert, Reid and Garrett Rogers.
