Kuehn - 60 years

Mr. and Mrs. John Kuehn Jr. of Cape Girardeau will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Wednesday.

Kuehn and Wanda Reynolds were married Oct. 26, 1951, at the home of the Rev. A.J. Langston. Their attendants were Mr. and Mrs. G.B. Kuehn, brother and sister-in-law of the groom.

Kuehn served in the U.S. Army. He had worked at the local cement plant, and Cape-Kil Pest Control. Mrs. Kuehn worked at Superior Electric and was housekeeping supervisor at Saint Francis Medical Center.

The couple has four children, Carolyn (Rick) Crump and Kaye (Randy) Huebel of Cape Girardeau, John (Carla) Kuehn III of Brewer, Mo., and Lynda (Michael) Cook of Cape Girardeau. They have 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
