Kinsey - 60 years

McCLURE, Ill. -- Mr. and Mrs. Duane Kinsey of McClure celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a dinner July 24, 2010, at Giant City Lodge in Makanda, Ill.

Hosts were their children.

Kinsey and Marilyn Powell were married July 23, 1950, at First United Methodist Church in Centralia, Ill. The Rev. C. Kenneth Powell, brother of the bride, performed the ceremony.

The Kinseys have six children, Pat Baldwin of McClure, Barb Kinsey, Linda (Wynn) Bollinger and Wesley (Ann) Kinsey, all of Cape Girardeau, David (Fran) Kinsey of Thompsonville, Ill., and Susan (Scott) McClanahan of Cape Girardeau.

They have nine grandchildren, Laura and Christa Bollinger, Nathaniel and Truman Kinsey, Ross and Lexie McClanahan, all of Cape Girardeau, Sarah (Brian) Morgan and Annie Kinsey of Thompsonville, and Tarah (Stevie) Battaglia of Royalton, Ill. They have three great-grandchildren, Gunnar Battaglia, Payce and Marlie Morgan.
