Jones and Mary Julene McBride were married Feb. 11, 1950, at Emanuel Evangelical Church in Jackson.
They have two children, Steve (Patti) Jones of Jackson, and Deborah (Glen) Griffin of Chaffee, Mo. They have three grandchildren, Jennifer (Richard) Turman of Lake in the Hills, Ill., Jason (Laura) Jones and Jonathan Jones of Jackson; five great-grandchildren, Grace, Reagan and Madelyn Turman, and Ava and Warren Jones.
