Huffman -- 60 years

McClure, Ill. -- Nelson and Melba Huffman of McClure will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house and luncheon hosted by their children. It will be held 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 11, at First General Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.

Huffman and Melba Null were married June 8, 1956, in Arbor, Missouri. Arvil Huffman performed the ceremony.

The couple has three children, Carol Tabor of McClure, Mary Burchyett of Hillsboro, Illinois, and Steve Huffman of Thebes, Illinois. They also have seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
