Horrell - 50 Years

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Horrell of Scott City celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner and dance Oct. 10, 2009, at St. Augustine Parish Center in Kelso, Mo.

Hosts were their children. Out-of-town guests attended from Tennessee, Colorado and Virginia.

Horrell and Rosemary Essner were married Oct. 17, 1959, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in New Hamburg, Mo., by the Rev. Thomas Doyle.

Their attendants were Theon Horrell, Leo Fuller, Larry Essner, Margaret Snider, Loretta Kolozy and Alice Gosche.

The Horrells have four children, Rick Horrell (Sherry) of Jackson, Carol Rhodes (Jon) of Columbia, Mo., Angie Stanfield (Chris) of Douglasville, Ga., and Mary Horrell (Jamie Proctor) of Benton, Mo.

They have six grandchildren, Evan and Samuel Stanfield, Claire Horrell, Matthew and Christopher Nielsen, and Macie Proctor, and a great-grandson, Garrett Nielsen.
