Hobbs - 60 years

BENTON, Mo. -- Mr. and Mrs. Delano Hobbs of Benton recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a dinner at First General Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.

Hosts were their children and grandchildren. Approximately 150 guests attended the event.

Hobbs and Shirley Adams were married Sept. 6, 1951, in Cape Girardeau, by A.J. Langston. Their attendants were Doris DeBoe and Eldon Hobbs.

The couple has four children, Vicky (Scotty) Moyers of Benton, Darrell (Jan) Hobbs, Harrell and Steve Hobbs of Cape Girardeau. They have 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
