CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Hester of Chaffee are celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary today with a family dinner hosted by their children.

Hester and Ruby Seabaugh were married Nov. 17, 1943, at the Church of God of Prophecy in Chaffee.
The couple has eight children, Joyce (Dale) Baker, Jerry (Nancy) Hester, Gary (Brenda) Hester, Paula Roberts, Julia (Dave) Woodruff, Susan Hester, Robert (Lisa) Hester, and Denise (Bud) Haislip. They have 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and numerous stepgrandchildren, great-stepgrandchildren, and great-great-stepgrandchildren.
