Harmons mark silver event

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lee Harmon of Cincinnati, Ohio, celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary by repeating their vows Sept. 28, 2002, at Covenant Apostolic Church in Cincinnati. An open house, luncheon and reception followed.

The event was hosted by the couple's daughter, Geri Harmon. Guests attended from Cape Girardeau; Newtonsville and Milford, Ohio; Nashville, Tenn.; Salt Lake City, Utah; and Indianapolis, Ind.

Harmon and Mary Jean Rodgers were married Sept. 24, 1977, at Westwood United Methodist Church in Cincinnati, by Dr. Vandegriff. Their attendants were Connie Mentzel and Nancy Keller.

Mrs. Harmon is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Rodgers of Cape Girardeau and is a graduate of Central High School.
