Larry and Paulette Hamm of Benton, Missouri, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 2, 2015. The entire family was home for the holidays and celebrated the anniversary during an evening mass at St. Lawrence Church in New Hamburg, Missouri, followed by dinner hosted by their children at Bella Italia Restaurant in Cape Girardeau.
Hamm and the former Paulette Colliflower were married Oct. 2, 1965, by the Rev. Joseph Keusenkothen at St. Augustine Church in Kelso, Missouri. Their attendants were Linda (Peetz) Frey, Norman Hamm, Ruth A. (Schwach) Priggle, Ken Ostendorf, Charlene (Heisserer) Alvarez, Larry Essner, Janie (Rogers) Fowler, junior bridesmaid, and John Moll, junior groomsman.
The couple has five children: Lori and Tim Powderly and their children, Grant, Lauren and Alex of Cape Girardeau; Susan and Tim Sansone and their children, Tim Jr., John, Luke, Julia, Victoria and Dean of St. Louis; Julie and Hugh Tomlinson and their children, Maegan, Taylor Faye and Tanner of Tallahassee, Florida; Erin and Kevin Davis and their children, Adrian and Will of St. Louis; and John Paul and Amanda Hamm and daughter, Maggie, of Cape Girardeau.
