Griffith - 49 Years

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Mr. and Mrs. William "Bill" Griffith Sr. of Chaffee recently celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary.

Griffith and Karen Fay Moore were married Oct. 15, 1960, in Cairo, Ill.

The couple resided in Irving, Texas, during their working years where they raised their family. After retiring they moved to Chaffee to be near her mother and sister.

The Griffiths have three children, William (Tyra) Griffith Jr. of Andale, Kan., Cathy (Robert) Pesale of Huntington, Conn., and Cynthia (Chris) Grundlund of Roanoke, Texas. They have seven grandchildren.
