The couple has three children, Robyn and David Gross of Cape Girardeau, Dana and Luigi Vanoni of Italy, and Maj. Michael and Ivonne Goodin of Hawaii.

They have five grandchildren, Danielle and Samantha Gross, Lainey, Erica and Gabriel Goodin.
