glaab - 50 years

Mr. and Mrs. August Glaab Jr. of Cape Girardeau recently observed their 50th wedding anniversary.

The couple was married Jan. 2, 1959, at Tamms Baptist Church, by the Rev. Floyd Lacey. Their attendants were Elaine Crain, Eleanor Duff, the late Gordon Glaab, and Roy Hearell.

Mrs. Glaab is the daughter of Oris and Faye Lynn Vick of Olive Branch, Ill. Glaab is the son of August and Virgie Glaab of Tamms, Ill.

The Glaabs have two children, Jay Glaab of Cape Girardeau and Paula (Steve) Lasswell of Kansas City, and two grandsons, Austin and Joshua Lasswell.

The couple and their family will celebrate with a trip in March.
