Gerlach -- 65 years

Bob and Dora Jean Gerlach of Jackson celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on Jan. 23, attending services with family at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau, then at a dinner at Delmonico's in Jackson.

Gerlach and the former Dora Schreiner were married Jan. 27, 1951, at New McKendree United Methodist Church in Jackson. Their attendants were Leo Ruah and Betty Suedekum.

The couple has two children, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren: Jean and Ron Bollinger of Cape Girardeau and their daughter, Lorie (Marc) Alaimo of Agoura Hills, California; Mark and Debbie Gerlach of Bonne Terre, Missouri, and their children, Kelly (J.R.) Brown and son Gavin of Perryville, Missouri; Abby (Richard) Gerlach and daughter Kennedy of Cape Girardeau; Kaitlyn Litton of Bonne Terre, Marty (Ashley) Litton of Potosi, Missouri, and Corey Litton of Potosi.
