Fausts to mark 55th event

Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Faust Jr. of Florissant, Mo., will celebrate their 55th anniversary with a dinner party Dec. 26 in the Faust Restaurant at Adam's Mark Hotel.

Hosts are their daughters, Julie Michel of Normandy, Mo., and Stacy Faust of Florissant.

Faust and Elizabeth Jean Young were married Dec. 26, 1948, at First Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau, by Dr. Cleland. Matron of honor was Dottie Long, and bridesmaids were Troy Steck and Vivian Vandeven.

Faust is a native of Chaffee, Mo., and his wife is a native of Cape Girardeau.

The couple has six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
