Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Eggimann of Jackson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner and dance March 27 at Jackson Senior Center.
Approximately 135 guests attended from Cape Girardeau, Jackson, Gordonville, Chaffee, Advance, Kansas City, Fredericktown, New Wells, St. Louis and Perryville, Mo., and the state of Tennessee.

Eggimann and Marilyn Doering were married March 26, 1960, at Christ Lutheran Church in Gordonville.
The couple has two sons, Bradley (Pam) Eggimann of Panama City, Fla., and Brent Eggimann of Jackson. They have four grandchildren, Malinda and Matthew Eggimann of Panama City, Lauren Eggimann of Jackson, and Lynne Eggimann of Columbia, Mo.
