Mr. and Mrs. Larry Easley of Cape Girardeau recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
They had dinner with several friends, and spent Memorial Day weekend at the YMCA Trout Lodge with their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Easley and Deanna Bushey were married May 29, 1960, in Grand Junction, Colo.
They have lived in Cape Girardeau since 1967. He retired from Southeast Missouri State University, where he taught 43 years in the history department. Mrs. Easley is a registered nurse and retired from Southeast Missouri Hospital, where she worked on the oncology floor and as a hospice nurse.
The Easleys have three sons, Jim (Sue) of Cottleville, Mo., David (Kathy) of Cape Girardeau, and Mike (Sarah) of Smithton, Ill. They have 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
