Diamonds to mark 50th

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Diamond Sr. of Cape Girardeau will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner Sept. 13 at the Eagles Aerie 3775.

Hosts will be their daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Wes Masterson, and their granddaughter and spouse, Terri and Don Roth.

Diamond and Violet Morlan were married Sept. 12, 1953.

The couple has six children, Roy, Robert Jr., Roger and Don Diamond, all of Cape Girardeau, and Debbie Masterson of Jackson. A son, Allen Diamond, is deceased. The Diamonds have four grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
