Denney -- 50 years

Gary and Cheryl Denney of Scott City celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on March 12 at Sandy's Place with a dinner party hosted by their children.

Denney and the former Cheryl Feverston were married March 6, 1966, at Grace United Methodist Church of Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Roland Boone performed the ceremony. Attendants were Sondra Feverston Wieland, maid of honor; Becky Feverston McClard, bridesmaid; Julie Shelton Ratz, flower girl; William Johnson, best man; and Keith McCambell, groomsman.

The couple has two children, Marcie Denney Null of Cabot, Arkansas, and Michael Denney of Springfield, Missouri. They also have three grandchildren, Kacie Null, Austin Null and Cooper Denney.
