Darby and Wanda Jerls were married Nov. 11, 1961, at the Methodist Church in Essex, Mo., by the Rev. Dale Pollack. Their attendants were Donna Kay Baker and Dave Guard.

The couple has two daughters, Teresa Lynn (Jered) Brown and Deana Kay (Mark) Spence; two granddaughters, Tori and Emme; and a great-grandson, Brock, all of Cape Girardeau.
