Cox - 60 years

Charles and Wanda Cox of Whitewater celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Sept. 1, 2007.

The couple was married Aug. 30, 1947, at Benton, Mo. They have lived in Whitewater most of their lives.

They have four children, Vickie Burke of Glenwood Springs, Colo., Bobbie Barber of St. Louis, Basil Cox of Jackson, and the late Brenda Meyer.

The couple has five grandchildren, Dara Lancaster, Cody and Tara Burke, Torie and Brennen Cox; and three great-grandchildren, Olivia Gills, Anna Burke, and Maysun Lancaster.
