A story from the Standard Democrat in Thursday's edition should have read that a random drug testing policy being implemented in Sikeston, Mo., schools is only for students participating in extracurricular activities regulated by the Missouri State High School Activities Association, excluding all activities in which students receive an academic grade for their participation. Like all other Missouri public school districts, Sikeston already had in place a suspicion-based drug testing policy before adopting the random drug testing policy Tuesday.
