Mr. and Mrs. George E. Collins of Cape Girardeau celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a luncheon May 8, 2004, at the home of a daughter in St. Louis.

Hosts were their children and spouses, Marla and Larry Cruse and Mike and Margaret Collins, all of St. Louis, and Marsha and Jim Stewart of Boonville, Mo.

Mr. and Mrs. Collins were married May 7, 1954. Their attendants were Mr. and Mrs. George Huffstutter of Atlanta, Ga., who attended the event.

The couple has four grandchildren, Matthew Collins with the U.S. Marine Corps in Bahrain, Megan Collins at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Tyler Stewart at Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, and Allison Stewart of Boonville.
