Clardy --50 years

Mike and Lynette Clardy of Whitewater celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Jan. 28 with their children.

Clardy and the former Lynette Leadbetter were married Jan. 28, 1967, by the Rev. Bob Bradford at Bethlehem General Baptist Church in Crump. Their attendants were Mary Jane Deck Peters and Bill Glenn, both of Jackson.

The couple has two children, Clarissa and Steve Rodgers and Stacey and Randol Kight, all of Whitewater. They have three grandchildren, Cole Alstun Rodgers, Gunnar Michael and Remi Dawn Bollinger, all of Whitewater.
