Burger - 50 years

Mr. and Mrs. Ron Burger of Scott City celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary July 6, 2013, with Mass at St. Augustine Church in Kelso, Mo., and a dinner and dance.

Guests attended from the area, and from St. Louis, Kansas City, Ozark and Springfield, Mo., and the states of Ohio and Louisiana.

Burger and Karen Throop were married July 6, 1963.

The couple has four children, Scott (Melissa) Burger, Tammy (Chris) Crider, Adam (Nicky) Burger, and Patty (Doug) Kissinger. Their grandchildren are Libby and Becky Burger, Caitlyn and Zach Cotner, Andrew Hayden, all of Scott City; Madison Burger of Jackson; Kate, Lily, Emily, Brett, Ellie and Steven Kissinger of Ozark. They also have two great-grandchildren, Josh and Ryleigh Stevens of Scott City.
