Brownings married 65 years

OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- The Rev. Ernest and Thelma Browning of Olive Branch observed their 65th wedding anniversary with a family celebration July 16, 2006, at their home.

The Brownings were married July 16, 1941, in Tacoma, Wash. They have lived in OIive Branch most of their lives.

They have six children, Ernest Jr. and Robert of Florida, Gilbert of Olive Branch, Gary of DuQuoin, Ill., Darlene of Villa Ridge, Ill., and Cindy of Benton, Mo. They have eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
