Brown - 60 years

Mr. and Mrs. Donald W. Brown of Jackson celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner Oct. 27, 2007, hosted by their children.

Brown and Aletha Grant were married Oct. 26, 1947, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson, by the Rev. Walter Keisker.

Their attendants were Virginia Brown Criddle and Harold Grant.

The couple has two children, Don (Marilyn) Brown of Jackson, and Tina (Bill) Presser of Cape Girardeau. They have four grandchildren, Heather (Pee Wee) Bartels and Nathan (Brittany) Brown of Jackson, Brent and Mark Presser of Cape Girardeau. The Browns also have a great-grandson, Nolan Bartels.
