Bowman - 50 Years

Vince and Jean Bowman of Cape Girardeau celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner and reception June 6, 2009, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Hannibal, Mo.

Hosts were their children.

Among the guests were Cham and Rocio of Baja California, Mexico, students hosted by the Bowmans in 1977 and 1978.

The couple was married June 6, 1959, in Hannibal.

They have five children, Jude Mosley (Michael) of Virginia Beach, Va., Jan Farrar (Gary) of Gordonville, Joy Auer (Mark) of Cape Girardeau, Dane Bowman (Cara) of Hannibal, and Jerian Cesonis (Bruno) of Harrisonville, Mo.

The Bowmans have 16 grandchildren, Nicole and Brandon Mosley; Danae, Hayle and Charles Davis, Rachel Farrar; Danielle and Kayla Auer; Kyle and Katie Bowman; Jacob, Tyler, Karsen, Austen, Maria and Cheyenne Cesonis; and two great-grandchildren, Alanna and Gavin Mosley.
