Bollinger - 50 Years

Mr. and Mrs. Ben Bollinger of Cape Girardeau celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house and reception April 19, 2009, at The Cove.

Hosts were their daughters.

Bollinger and Glenda Westrich were married April 11, 1959, at St. Mary's Cathedral, by Monsignor Marion Forest.

Their attendants were Jeanne Willis Owens, Linda Bollinger Harper, Jim Eftink and Buster Bollinger.

The couple has four daughters, Sherri Simmons, Peggy Garner and Carla Pope of Cape Girardeau, and Gerri Bollinger of St. Louis. They have five grandchildren.

Bollinger is retired from Ryder Transportation, and Mrs. Bollinger is retired from Kmart.
