Mrs. Phoenix is the former Rachael Harris, daughter of Don and Joyce Harris of Scott City. Phoenix is the son of Edward and Barbara Phoenix of Ava, Ill. He is employed by the Cape County Transit Authority.

Daughter to Greg Steven and Kari Kay Powell of Cape Girardeau, Southeast Hospital, 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011. Name, Zoey Adlean. Weight, 7 pounds, 14 ounces. Mrs. Powell is the former Kari Lacewell. She is a surgical assistant at Cape Urology Associates. Powell is a HVAC technician with Dutch Enterprises.

Wright

Daughter to Justin Michael and Ashley Suzanne Wright of Cape Girardeau, 8:10 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011. Name, Ashlyn Jo. Weight, 6 pounds, 1 ounce. First child. Mrs. Wright is the former Ashley Allmon, daughter of Jo Allmon of Marble Hill, Mo., and the late Gary Allmon. She is a registered nurse in the Emergency Room at Southeast. Wright is the son of Michael Wright and Barb Sanders of Piedmont, Mo. He is assistant manager at Dalhousie Golf Club.
