Mrs. Branscum is the former Traci Tuschhoff, daughter of Leon and Emily Tuschhoff of Jackson. She is a nurse at St. John's Mercy Medical Center. Branscum is the son of Dr. Shelba Branscum and Dr. Walter Branscum of Jackson. He is employed with General Electric Power of Houston, Texas.

Hooe

Son to James Edward and Ashley Darlene Rose Hooe of Cape Girardeau, Saint Francis Medical Center, 2:29 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, 2004. Name, Michael James. Weight, 4 pounds 1 ounce. Mrs. Hooe is the former Ashley White, daughter of Ed and Fannie White of Cape Girardeau. She is an assistant secretary at Edward Jones. Hooe is the son of Denny and Sherry Hooe of Cape Girardeau. He is serving with the U.S. Army in Iraq.

Weight, 8 pounds 9 ounces. First child. Mrs. Steinhoff is the former Sarah Price, daughter of Helius Devon Price and Mary Jo Price of Apopka, Fla. She is an application specialist at the Orlando Sentinel. Steinhoff is the son of Kenneth and Lila Steinhoff of West Palm Beach, Fla., formerly of Cape Girardeau. He is a systems analyst at the Orlando Sentinel.

Mrs. Burkhart is the former Shawndra Seyer, daughter of A.J. Seyer and Kay Seyer of Jackson. She is employed by Richards Land Surveying. Burkhart is the son of Gwen Hanes of Dexter, Mo., and the late Kenneth Burkhart of Des Arc, Mo. He is employed at Auto Tire and Parts Co.
