Neikirk

Adopted daughter to Joel and Danette Neikirk of Cape Girardeau, hospital in Escuintla, Guatemala, Tuesday, March 28, 2006. Name, Katelyn Joy. Weight, 7 pounds, 13 ounces. Third child, first daughter. Mrs. Neikirk is the former Danette Wheelock, daughter of Daniel and Evelyn Wheelock of Joliet, Ill. She is a physical therapist at Saint Francis Medical Center. Neikirk is the son of Jackie Neikirk of Marion, Ill., and the late Harley Neikirk. He is employed with MidAmerica Hotels Drury Restaurants.

Milam

Son to Trevor Clayton Milam and Mary Theresa Kilhafner of Jackson, Southeast Missouri Hospital, 4:34 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2006. Name, Jacob Hunter. Weight, 7 pounds, 14 ounces. First child. Ms. Kilhafner is the daughter of William and Michele Kilhafner of Marble Hill, Mo. She is a CNA/CMT at Jackson Manor. Milam is the son of Donnie Milam of Cape Girardeau and Kristie Milam of Kelso, Mo. He is employed by Cape Girardeau County Park Department.

Son to Willard Dallas Wayne Hawkins and Jessi Nicole Leimer of Cape Girardeau, Southeast Missouri Hospital, 7:34 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2006. Name, Dalton Wayne. Weight, 7 pounds, 7 ounces. Third child, second son. Ms. Leimer is the daughter of Georgette Leimer and Rocky Leimer of Jackson. Leimer is the son of Mary Litton of Gladewater, Texas, and Willard Hawkins of Gilmer, Texas. He is employed at Blue World Pools.
