Son to David Joseph Otero and Anna Marie Bucholtz of Marble Hill, Mo., Saint Francis Medical Center, 8:46 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013. Name, Braxton David-Joseph. Weight, 6 pounds, 1 ounce. Second child, first son. Ms. Bucholtz is the daughter of Gary and Diona Bucholtz of Marble Hill. Otero is the grandson of Christin Petton of Marble Hill, and son of the late David Otero and Sheila Jackson. He is a construction worker.

Powell

Twin daughters to Kristopher Dewitt Powell and Kayla Rashelle White of Olive Branch, Ill., Saint Francis Medical Center, Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013. Kristiana Danielle was born at 1:12 p.m. and weighed 6 pounds, 5 ounces. Kensley Rashelle was born at 1:16 p.m. and weighed 4 pounds, 13 ounces. First children. Ms. White is the daughter of Beverly and Jerry Held and Billy and Cindy White of Olive Branch. She is employed by Kozy Korner. Powell is the son of Rhonda Powell of Thebes, Ill. He is employed by Phillips 66.

Second daughter. Mrs. Barnard is the former Nichole Parks, daughter of Darryl and Angie Parks of Jackson. Barnard is the son of Fred and Kim Barnard of Blytheville, Ark. He is serving in the U.S. Army.
