Second child, first daughter. Mrs. Meunier is the former Laura Welter, daughter of Michael and Mary Lou Welter of Sikeston, Mo. Meunier is the son of Mae Meunier of Sikeston, and the late Charles Meunier. He is employed with McKesson Pharmaceuticals.

Smithey

Son to Paul Eugene Smithey and Samantha Faye Umphlett of Jackson, Southeast Missouri Hospital, 5:15 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2007. Name, Connor Ryan. Weight, 5 pounds, 12 ounces. Ms. Umphlett is the daughter of Steve and Shirley Sawyer of Jackson. She is employed at DMart in Fruitland. Smithey is the son of Kim Smithey of Oak Ridge. He is employed by Major Custom Cable.

Mrs. Crowden is the former Terri McBride, daughter of Terry and Betty McBride of Scott City. She is a teller at US Bank. Crowden is the son of Dale and Donna Hobeck of Delta and Terry and Nana Crowden of Waco, Texas. He is an installer with Young and Hart.

Mrs. Click is the former Erin Mirly, daughter of Thomas and Terry Mirly of Cape Girardeau. She is an elementary band teacher with Ferguson-Florissant School District in Florissant, Mo. Click is the son of Gene and Linda Click of Cape Girardeau. He is a senior producer with KPLR-TV in St. Louis.

Borders is the son of John and Rachel Borders of Zalma. He is a driver with Elfrink Transportation Inc. in Cape Girardeau.
