Daughter to Michael and Clarissa Barks of Fairbanks, Alaska, born at home, 7:46 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2006. Name, Annika Meri. Second child, first daughter. Mrs. Barks is the daughter of Brad Walker of Texas and Brenda Clark of Hawaii. She is an English major at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks. Barks is the son of Larry and Ruth Barks of Jackson. He is a saxophonist in the Army Band, stationed at Fort Wainwright, Alaska.

Weibrecht

Twin daughters to Kirk Patrick and April Dawn Weibrecht of Perryville, Mo., Southeast Missouri Hospital, Monday, Aug. 28, 2006. Ava Kathleen was born at 6:07 a.m. and weighed 5 pounds, 2 ounces. Mariah was born at 6:09 a.m. and weighed 5 pounds. The couple also has two sons. Mrs. Weibrecht is the daughter of Kate Martin and Joe Martin of Perryville. Mrs. Jackson is the former Nashota Wheeler, daughter of Doug and Laura Wheeler of Clayton, Ga. Jackson is the son of Pam and Mike Lauderback of St. Peters, Mo., and Jeffrey Jackson of Owatonna, Minn. He is serving with the U.S. Marine Corps, and is stationed at the Marine Corps Air Station in Beaufort.
