Olivia Dru was born at 4:21 p.m. and weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces. First son and second daughter. Mrs. Roddy is the former Ami Dowell, daughter of Vickie and Reed Hanna of St. Charles, Mo. Roddy is the son of Randall and Janice Roddy of Cape Girar-deau. He is employed at TLC Laser Eye Centers in Springfield.

Son to Matthew Eugene and Jody Christine Essner of Columbia, Mo., Capital Region Medical Center, 7:14 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2007. Name, Garrett Daniel. Weight, 8 pounds, 2 ounces. First child. Mrs. Essner is the former Jody Jordan, daughter of Jim and Jane Jordan of Jefferson City, Mo. She is on-premise sales manager with Major Brands in Columbia. Essner is the son of Larry and Betty Essner of Benton, Mo. He is a supervisor with Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education School Food Services.
