Twin son and daughter to Lance Alan and Starla Michelle Miller of Scott City, Saint Francis Medical Center, Wednesday, June 4, 2008. Lane Alan was born at 10:10 a.m. and weighed 4 pounds, 8 ounces. Ava Grace was born at 10:11 a.m. and weighed 4 pounds, 1 ounce. Second son and first daughter. Mrs. Miller is the former Starla Finley, daughter of Patty Owens of Harrison, Ark., and Ronnie Finley of Sikeston, Mo. Mr. and Mrs. Miller are owners of Houch's Donuts. He is the son of Mike Miller and Debbie Miller of Scott City.

Son to David L. and Leslie R. Thompson of Miller City, Ill., Saint Francis Medical Center, 6:19 a.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2008. Name, Landon Lee. Weight, 6 pounds, 14 ounces. Mrs. Thompson is the former Leslie Willis, daughter of David and Debbie Willis of Miller City. She is employed at Macy's. Thompson is the son of Lee and Brenda Thompson of Olive Branch, Ill. He is employed at Bunge Corp.
