Daughter to Craig and Paula Carmichael of St. Peters, Mo., St. Luke's Hospital in Chesterfield, Mo., 4:18 p.m. Monday, June 21, 2004. Name, Hailey Brooke. Weight, 5 pounds 6 ounces. Third child, second daughter. Mrs. Carmichael is the former Paula Burnette, daughter of Henry and Linda Burnette of Oak Ridge. Carmichael is the son of Rick and Shirley Carmichael of Fairbury, Neb. He is employed at Clear Channel Communications.

Son to Brett Timothy and Amber Jean Detering of Anna, Ill., St. Francis Medical Center, 12:52 p.m. Monday, July 12, 2004. Name, Andrew Devin. Weight, 9 pounds 8 ounces. Second child, first son. Mrs. Detering is the former Amber Zimmerman, daughter of Deborah Zimmerman of Centralia, Ill., and Gary and Sharon Zimmerman of Nashville, Ill. Detering is the son of Charlie and Carolyn Detering of Nashville. He is an assistant principal.

Fifth child, third son. Mrs. DeRossett is the former Amy Schilling, daughter of Daryl Schilling of Cape Girardeau and Linda Payne of Big Spring, Texas. She is self-employed. DeRossett is the son of Gerald DeRossett and Barbara DeRossett of Cape Girardeau. He is an emergency medical technician.
