Daughter to Paul and Kelly Thompson of Springfield, Ill., Springfield Memorial Medical Center, 6:49 a.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2002. Name, Brooke Amabel. Weight, 7 pounds 10 ounces. Second child, first daughter. Mrs. Thompson is the daughter of Jerry and Lois Toepfer of Glenwood, Ill. She is a senior recruiter with Ciber of Springfield. Thompson is the son of Joe and Edna Thompson of Jackson, Mo. He is an assistant counselor for Gov. George Ryan, and is a captain in the U.S. Army JAG Reserves.

Brown

Twin sons to Jamie Lee and Briana Kathleen Brown of Jackson, Mo., Southeast Missouri Hospital, Tuesday, July 9, 2002. Landon James was born at 8:17 a.m. and weighed, 6 pounds 11 ounces. Ethan Edwin was born at 8:18 a.m. and weighed 6 pounds 8 ounces. First children. Mrs. Brown is the former Briana Welker, daughter of Ed and Kathy Welker of Cape Girardeau. She is a teacher at Immaculate Conception School in Jackson. Brown is the son of Jim and Linda Brown of Jackson. He is an accountant at Spartech Plastics.

Morris

Son to Thomas Shane and Jill Ellen Morris of Cape Girardeau, Southeast Missouri Hospital, 5:42 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2002. Name, Blake Ryan. Weight, 8 pounds 5 ounces. Third child, first son. Mrs. Morris is the former Jill Bourcier, daughter of James and Karen Bourcier of Midland, Mich. Morris is the son of Thomas and Esther Morris of Jackson, Mo. He is employed at Coad Chevrolet.

Whitman

Mrs. Whitman is the former April Burks, daughter of Gary and Shirley Burks of Pikeville, Tenn. Whitman is the son of Reva and Jerry Vestal of St. Johns, Mich., and Darwin and Joyce Whitman of Dayton, Tenn. He is pastor of Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

Fourth child, second daughter. Ms. Senciboy is the daughter of Billie Gladwell of Blodgett, Mo., and Gary Senciboy Sr. of Perkins, Mo. Burke is the son of James Burke of Billings, Mont., and Charleen Williams of Pearl City, Hawaii.
