Mrs. McAlister is the former Mendy Karraker, daughter of Steve and Cheryl Karraker of Metropolis, Ill. She is a music teacher at Kelly Public Schools. McAlister is the son of Bob and Kris McAlister of Jonesboro, Ill. He is a minister at Jackson Church of Christ.

Sloan

Son to John David and Catina Elaine Sloan of Marble Hill, Mo., St. Francis Medical Center, 8:25 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2003. Name, Toby Lance. Weight, 5 pounds 9 ounces. Fourth child, third son. Mrs. Sloan is the former Catina Brown, daughter of Kenny and Kaye Brown of Marble Hill. Sloan is the son of Kay Lines and Tim of Tallahassee, Fla., and Calvin Sloan of Sopchoppy, Fla. He is employed in civil service at Scott Air Force Base, and is a member of the U.S. Air Force Reserve.

Mrs. McMullen is the former Kate Kingree, daughter of Larry and Marilyn Kingree of Cape Girardeau. McMullen is the son of Mary McMullen of Baton Rouge, La. He is a teacher at South Elementary with Jackson R-2 School District.

Wilburn

Mrs. Wilburn is the former Janel Gulley, daughter of J.T. and Jane Gulley of Jackson. She is employed at Rubbermaid. Wilburn is the son of T.J. and Debbie Wilburn of Sikeston, Mo., and the late Carol Wilburn of Scott City. He is employed at S&S Interiors.
