Mrs. Wuertz is the former Cheri Kaempfer, daughter of Larry and Pat Kaempfer of Cape Girardeau. She is director of finance at Ronald McDonald House in St. Louis. Wuertz is the son of Don and Judy Wuertz of Columbia. He is a partner with the accounting firm of Kerber, Eck and Braeckel in St. Louis.
