Mrs. Merchak is the former Susan Stomberski, daughter of Tom and Jean Stomberski of Mount Vernon, Ill. Merchak is the son of Joseph and Amira Merchak of Damascus, Syria. He is a pediatrician/neonatologist at Ferguson Medical Group in Sikeston.
