Mrs. Mitchem is the former Sherry Eftink, daughter of Rosemary and Bernard DeBrock of Oran, and the late Eugene Eftink. She is an elementary teacher with Oran School District. Mitchem is the son of Evelyn and Cecil Pikey of Kelso, Mo., and the late Norman Mitchem. He is a cell leader at Dana Corp.

Ms. Tanner is the daughter of James and Teresa Tanner of Cape Girardeau. Merchant is the son of Jerry and Debbie Jackson of Scott City. He is a forklift driver with Quality Packaging Inc.
