Mrs. Hurd is the former Laura Hulshof, daughter of Vincent Hulshof of Benton, Mo., and the late Romana Hulshof. Hurd is the son of George and Gerry Hurd of Jacksonville, Fla. He is a workers compensation adjuster in Franklin.
